The film wasn't right in places. Denzil swore more than Cid.. _________________

I saw the adverts for it and the voices looked...annoying, I'm hoping they aren't as annoying as I first though, I may just watch it in Japanese with Subtitiles if possible on the DVD's, I haven't checked yet |

Fine "sounded annoying"
I can't help how I speak, we all speak weird up here
Anyway, Barrets voice and Cid's voices pissed me off, I enjoyed Cait Sith's though, he was Scottish (In the UK version anyway, not sure about American or others)

No some of us know how to write in correct English I find. It's mainly you who types how you speak.
Edit: Above forcy points out something anyone with two brain cells could work out and should be taken as in insult to your intelligence, especially since he adds arrows in case you are unsure where to find this mystic 'below'. _________________

I was under the impression there was only one dubbed version, so if Cait Sith has a Scottish voice in your copy, then he better have one in mine (which I'll pick up when I go home from the university this coming weekend). I want a Scottish Cait Sith!
...and if what you say is true, he better have that same voice in Dirge of Cerberus. I demand it! _________________

Okay, now that I've seen the English dub...
1. I enjoyed Scottish Cait Sith though I had hoped he would have more lines.
2. Barret's voice seemed alright to me, but Cid was a sailor, not a cowboy (with a voice that also sounded too old for someone who's only 34).
3. At times, I felt that Tifa's voice would have better suited Yuffie.
4. I'm not entirely sure I liked the choice for Cloud's voice actor. I don't think it was the same person who played his voice in Kingdom Hearts, the voice for Cloud that I would have preferred.
Other than that, the rest of the voices were fine, in my opinion. The voices of Turks, Vincent, Red XIII were especially appropriate. I found the movie to have a lot more comical elements than I originally expected, particularly with regard to Reno and Rude. When I started up the movie, I had low expectations, but I was definitely impressed by the time the movie ended.
Probably the line that surprised me the most was Rufus's comment to Cloud in an early scene about rebuilding Shinra. I honestly never expected Shinra to make any substantial recovery in the post-meteor/holy world. However, i did always have my suspicions that Rufus survived Diamond Weapon's attack on Midgar. _________________

Well, watched it myself now, I think it was even better this time than when I watched it in Japanese with Subs, when you can understand what they are saying without having to read it's so much better.
I think the voices were pretty cool, especially like vincent and sephiroths voices. _________________

Just watched it, from the fairly unique point of having not played FFVII. I thought it was bit weak at the beginning but it got a lot better. Quite amusing in places too. _________________

| I finally watched it for the first time a couple of days ago. At first I wasn't impressed, the bike scene was just iffy, but I thought it ended up being a rather decent movie. And I love Cait Sith now, never expected him to be Scottish. |
