Ah, ok - I wish you'd be more specific - eg stating "what does it do apart from treat sewage etc" . You thinking of its use in etchings then?

i'm an electronics technician at the local college, i help students build the stuff.
what kind of flipflop you want?
RS? JK? D? something with a clock or without a clock?
standard RS would be something like a pair of nands, or an and feeding into a not, where the output of the not is fed back into the input of the other and. and same for the other 1
the 2 free inputs are your R and S, the outputs of the nots, which feed back into the other ands, are also the Q and notQ outputs.

"i work with Ferric chloride on a daily basis" what did you think i did with it? i am the "PCB Wizard" at the college, i make most of them.
a flipflop is easy, i used 1 for my ATX power supply on/off switch for my scroling message display board that i designed and build for my HND project.
