When start the installation Process the upper bar runs to around 1/3 where it tries to download additional packages (a bar beneath it opens that says "Connecting")
It then gives off an error where it says it cannot connect to host and aborts installation.

Can anyone help me with this? Is there a way to just manually download the needed Files?

Well the content packages can be downloaded via
http://open-ra.org/get-dependency.php?ra-packages and/or
http://open-ra.org/get-dependency.php?cnc-packages

The downloaded zips should then be extracted into mods/ra/packages and mods/cnc/packages respectively.

Really odd that it doesn't work in the installer though, you haven't got an over-zealous firewall or have to connect through a proxy server do you?

I guess germany is the new nebraska or something.
Perhaps the whole thing could be uploaded on the main page as a standart installer?
Also this site didn't send me an activation email twice to two different email providers...

Edit:Also the two links are just white screens with no download request or anything...

That would be because I typed them wrong:

http://open-ra.org/get-dependency.php?file=ra-packages
http://open-ra.org/get-dependency.php?file=cnc-packages

Sorry about that.

There are both legal and practical reasons why we don't offer the entire thing as one package.
I'll let pchote know about the email problems if he doesn't know already.
