Thems be face errs, I get them all the time with Maya exporting. Great fun to fix, normally because a face is left facing into the model mesh (so it would normally be deleted) or a face is intersected by an edge of another face... loads of things that can cause it (people say vetices that are inside the mesh, but that's a load of crap). You normally check for shadowing errors before skinning.

It's an F-5 Tiger.

Well how can I check all those suggestions in Gmax? I modeled it in Milkshape3d, imported into gmax and bam I get that. I remember fixing this with one model about a year ago, but I can't remember how.

well, for the vertices you can either check all the vertices and weld them as you find them, or you could use Chilliskinner and click the weld all tool

for the internal faces, just look inside the model and check for faces faceing inward

Well chillinskinner welds it really tight, but I don't think it's a welding problem since I welded it in gmax before the export.

Ok I had to remove some parts, weld some parts and now the model works great.

Here's a screenshot from WB.
